Change of idea

We've decided to change from doing an original comical composition, and instead to perform three songs from the artist Stephen Lynch. Stephen Lynch's songs are of a comical nature, we have chosen to perform the songs; 'She Gotta Smile', 'Special Ed' and *TO BE EDITED - NEED TO DECIDE A 3rd SONG*

Today, Zac wasn't here so I've had to do solo research on song lyrics and how to structure a comical original composition.
For the structure I was thinking a basic song structure of:
Intro
Verse 1
Chorus
Verse 2
Chorus
Breakdown
Chorus
Outro
The lyrics of the song would be about the life of an average man in Britain, and his complaining of pety things you would expect the average British citizen to dislike, for example -  taxes and politicians.
We intend to make our piece similar to the styles of The Lonley Island, Weird Al Yankovich, NicePeter, James At War and Every Day Normal Guy. These are all comical song composers/parody makers which makes it perfect for us to do research on the structure of their songs and the style of their lyrics (in relation to the songs they're parodies of - if not an original song.)
